Everyone always complains that girls are impossible to shop for. They're picky, they have expensive taste...the list goes on and on. But HELLO! Have any of those people tried shopping for a man?!

Dads, brothers, husbands, and boyfriends...it's the same situation every time. They're the last ones left on the list and you sit there for hours trying to think of what they could possibly want, need, or even remotely like. (cue the crickets)

Gift Guide: The Fashionista

There's a week until Christmas and all through the house, not a gift could be found, not even for your spouse!

Are you one of those last minute shoppers? Thinking you have all the time in the world to shop before Christmas arrives, and then BOOM. It's Christmas Eve and you still have the majority of your list to complete.

Mamma Mia!

Last night I had the wonderful pleasure of attending another one of Inglot Cosmetics' events in New York City! Just like the last one, this event was so much fun and I'm so grateful I was able to join.


Similar to The Lion King event, Mamma Mia and Inglot worked together to create a set of vibrant collections. From the hot pink eye shadows to the bright blue lipstick (which smelled amazing by the way), make up lovers can run wild with these palettes! Though they may not fit into my every day routine, these colors are surely something I would love to play around with.


With a variety of bright colors, these palettes made me think of warmer weather -- which is certainly a nice change from what we've been experiencing recently.

While at the Inglot studio, I was able to meet some of the show's cast including the lovely actress who plays Sophie. They were all so sweet and beautiful and looked amazing in the Gimme Gimme Glitter collection!

We'll Always Have Paris - Part 2

PERFECTION.

Paris was everything and more than I could have ever imagined. I already want to plan my next trip! Unlike where I'm from (particularly in NYC), life seemed so lax and easy going. You actually had time to stop and take a moment to appreciate life. Whereas over here everyone seems in a rush to get onto the next thing without even enjoying the present. Being able to sit down at a cafe and enjoy a cappuccino or a glass of wine was such a delight!

Paris Is Always A Good Idea - Part 1

It's finally here! A brief look into my trip to Paris (Switzerland coming up next). It took me forever and a day to sort through the thousands of pictures I took in order to get it down to a reasonable number to post -- and I still had to break this into 2 parts.

Paris was absolutely amazing. My family and I spent a whole week there which really allowed us to experience the city. I was told that most people spend at most 3 days in Paris just hopping from one tourist site to the next. By taking a whole week to "live" in this beautiful city, we were able to get a true sense of its spirit.

Needless to say, I fell in love. Take a look!
